How the course is served

Play the round robin
Ten quick rounds from 6:40. You’ll play 7 games of 10 minutes, each with a new partner, and rest in the others. Your court and partner are already set in the schedule below.

Get your ranking
After Round 10, everyone is ranked by how many games they won, then by points.

Play the finals
From 8:40, the top 20 play on. Your finals partner is picked from the rankings, so every game is balanced.

Numbers are rankings after the round robin, so “5 & 12” means 5th and 12th play as a team.

Example: if 5 & 12 win QF1, SF1 is 1 & 12 vs 4 & 5. The top seed gets the lower-ranked partner, so it stays balanced. Semifinal losers play for 3rd at 9:00.

Course 8 Head Chefs

House rules

Round robin scoring: 10 minutes per game, then a 2-minute changeover. First to 11, win by 2, or whoever’s ahead when time’s called. Tied at the buzzer? One sudden-death rally decides it.
Round 10 (make-up match): JB, Jewel and John M. have 6 games after Round 9, so they play one more on Court 9 with a wildcard: the lowest-ranked player on 7 games. Pairs are set once Round 9 is done. Round 10 counts toward seeding.
Seeding: after Round 10, players are ranked by Win % → Point Differential → Points For → Head-to-Head → Head-to-Head Differential → Fewest Points Conceded.
Playoffs: Seeds 1–4 go straight to the semifinals. Seeds 5–12 play the quarterfinals in pairs (5 & 12 v 8 & 9, 6 & 11 v 7 & 10). The winning pair splits up: in SF1, Seed 1 partners the lower-ranked QF1 winner against Seed 4 and the higher-ranked QF1 winner; SF2 is the same with Seeds 2 and 3 and the QF2 winners. QF losers play for 5th, and SF losers play for 3rd.
Placement games: Seeds 13–20 play one seeded game each at 8:40. With 21 players, Seed 21 finishes after the round robin.
Playoff scoring: quarterfinals, semifinals, Battle for 5th and placement games are first to 11, win by 2, or ahead at 10 minutes. The Championship and Battle for 3rd are first to 15, win by 2. Switch ends at 8.
Subs: if someone needs to sit out injured, unwell, or just needs a breather, anyone resting that round can step in for their slot. Just let the scorekeeper know.
